Laura Jane London was created in 2010, born out of a passion for all things British linked with a desire to produce a clothing brand that would meet the demands of both country and city lifestyles.



We noticed a clear trend for buying timeless wardrobe essentials and we believe that the design and craftsmanship involved in the production of our jackets has culminated in a brand that we are proud to say meets all of these criteria.

Laura Waite, a young British designer from West Sussex now living in London, is the face behind the brand. She noticed a gap in the market for British heritage fashion that exuded country sophistication and quality yet had the design and individuality to compliment a city lifestyle.  Whether worn smartly for business or casually over a pair of jeans for a pub lunch in the country, our jackets make a clear fashion statement.



We have sourced tailors in London, and more recently in Europe, to produce jackets that meet the highest standards of our discerning customers.  We pride ourselves in supporting several of Britain’s oldest working mills and use the best quality tweeds and wools in the making of our garments.   We work closely with a remote Scottish mill that is steeped in history and still uses its original Victorian loom, to develop bespoke tweeds and are proud to offer this service to our customers.
